Almost great
A great cast of voices, entertaining sound effects, and suprisingly well written bonus dialogue and content; all come together to do as advertised and immerse the listner. All that work however, is immediatly up ended and thrown out the window by the completly unimmersive, poorly produced, community theater level background music. There is so much going on and so much to take in, the music just sets it over the top and makes the experience fatiguing. The other issue with the music is this. There are several specific parts of this series where the author calls out the fact that characters hear music. Adding additonal backgorund to the whole story just subtracts from the impact that those scenes should have.
