Soundbooth is a premium audiobook platform designed for immersive listening — no subscriptions, no credits, just powerful storytelling on your terms.
Not always! You can listen to free productions in the app without an account. To purchase and access premium audiobooks, you'll need a free Soundbooth account.
- In the app: Stream or download your purchases for offline listening.
- On the website: Stream your purchases directly—downloads are only available in the app.
Nope. No monthly fees, no credits—just buy what you want, when you want.
Yes! We offer a large selection of free productions you can listen to in the app—no account required. If you're interested in a premium title, most productions include a free sample so you can preview the narration before purchasing.
Soundbooth Recap emails are sent to listeners with enough listening activity in 2025 to generate meaningful stats. If you didn't receive one, it simply means there wasn't enough data to create a recap this year.
As you listen more, you'll be included in future recaps.
Website and App
At this time, downloads are only supported within the Soundbooth app.
To listen offline, download your audiobooks in the app:
- From your Library: Open a series, select a title, and tap the download button.
- From the player: Tap the three-dot menu next to the title and select "Download."
Once downloaded, the audiobook will be available offline. Offline listening is only supported in the app, not on the website.
Yes! You can gift one of our titles to someone else. Just click the "Give as a Gift" button on the item page and follow the simple instructions.
No, we don't have a subscription model at this time. Our platform operates on a pay-per-product basis—each title is purchased individually. For series with multiple seasons, you can usually buy an entire season in one transaction, often at a discounted rate.
Tech / Troubleshooting
If your audio pauses or skips, it's likely due to an unstable internet connection. The best solution is to download the audiobook for offline listening:
- From your Library: Open a series, select a title, and tap the download button.
- From the player: Tap the three-dot menu next to the title and select Download.
Once downloaded, the audiobook will be available offline, and playback will no longer be affected by your internet connection.
If your purchase doesn't appear right away, try the following:
- Log out and log back in. This refreshes your account data.
- Confirm you're signed in with the same email used at checkout.
- Restart or reinstall the app. This can resolve temporary sync issues.
If your purchase still isn''t showing up, we'll need to take a closer look. Please and include:
- The email used for your purchase
- The title you purchased
- Your order confirmation or receipt
We'll make sure you get access as quickly as possible.
If a previously purchased title is missing, try the following:
- Make sure you're logged in with the correct email.
- Tap “Reset your Connection” in your Profile.
- If needed, reinstall the latest version of the app.
If the title still doesn't appear, and include:
- Your account email
- The missing title
- Your app version (found in Profile)
- Your device make and OS version
We'll get your library back in place as quickly as possible.
If you've already preordered a season or episode but the app is still showing a "Preorder" or "Buy" button, don't worry — your purchase is safe.
This is a syncing issue where the app doesn't always immediately recognize owned content after release. It's not a billing problem, and you will not be charged twice.
Try the steps below in order. Most people only need the first one.
Step 1: Reset your connection
- Open the Soundbooth app
- Go to Profile
- Tap Reset My Connection
- Return to your Library and reopen the title
If that doesn’t fix it:
Step 2: Reinstall the app
- Delete the Soundbooth app
- Reinstall it from the App Store or Google Play
- Log back into the same account you used to purchase
After completing these steps, your preorder should display correctly in your Library.
Will I be charged again?
No. If you've already purchased the title, you own it. The purchase prompt is a display issue only.
If you're still seeing the issue after trying the steps above, and we’ll take a closer look.
If your pre-ordered title isn't appearing or won't open, try the following:
- Reset the app connection from your Profile settings.
- On Android: Clear the app cache in your device settings.
- If needed, delete and reinstall the latest version of the app.
These steps usually resolve access issues. If you're still having trouble, and we'll make sure you can access your title.
If you've encountered a bug, we appreciate your help in reporting it. First, make sure you're using the latest version of the app—some issues may already be fixed.

- Steps to reproduce the issue
- Your device make, model, and OS version
- Any error messages you received
