Agatha Raisin and the Love from Hell
Synopsis
Recently married to James Lacey, Agatha Raisin quickly discovers that marriage is not quite the blissful experience she imagined. Instead of enjoying newlywed happiness, she and James find themselves living in separate cottages and constantly accusing each other of infidelity.
After a particularly explosive argument at the local pub, James suddenly disappears. The only clue left behind is a bloodstain—and before long, Agatha becomes the prime suspect in his disappearance.
Determined to clear her name and find her husband, Agatha launches her own investigation. But matters become even more complicated when Melissa, James’s suspected mistress, is found murdered.
With the help of her longtime friend Sir Charles Fraith, Agatha delves into Melissa’s past and uncovers a tangled web of secrets, including two ex-husbands, a resentful sister, and questionable connections to a biker gang.
As the mysteries deepen, Agatha must determine whether Melissa’s murder and James’s disappearance are connected—and whether she will ever be reunited with her husband.
